Take in the changing of the seasons and end your weekend with a beautiful nature hike.

Lynne Kinkema will be leading the hike and sharing her extensive knowledge of the history of the nature preserve and the ecosystems within its bounds. Lynne has dedicated over 40 years of stewardship with the preserve. The hike will provide education and information about the unique freshwater dune ecosystem that exists only in west Michigan. From the forested dunes to inter-dunal swales, lake shore to riverfront, hikers will learn about the plants, animals and landscape that make up this unique and beautiful nature preserve.

All are welcome! We encourage families and friends to come enjoy a day out in nature and engage with their local environment!
